Yandex reported damage to its Kaluga data centre on 9 October
Yandex’s Kaluga data centre was attacked on the morning of 9 October. The company said part of its infrastructure failed. Yandex gave no equipment-recovery timetable.
In a statement to Meduza, Yandex specified that several modules were completely disabled. It warned of possible service disruption without naming particular applications in that statement.
Yandex’s official notice said employees in Kaluga were unharmed. Infrastructure assessment and recovery work continued; that notice did not announce a complete shutdown of the entire Kaluga facility.
