Selectel, K2Cloud and VK Cloud are helping Yandex Cloud customers move services
On 9 October Yandex arranged help with Selectel, K2Cloud and VK Cloud. Affected customers were offered faster relocation of data and services. The providers assigned extra migration teams.
Yandex told Vedomosti the assistance included simpler onboarding and flexible financial terms. External clouds offered capacity for applications affected by attacks on Yandex facilities.
Selectel’s instructions, updated on 13 October, identify a practical limit: spare capacity is not available in every location. Customers unable to download a virtual-machine image from Yandex Cloud are directed to await operator updates or follow its recovery guidance.
