Yandex Cloud restored security checks and dialogue-analysis recalculation in SpeechSense
Yandex Cloud reported restoring two Security Deck modules. SpeechSense can again recalculate its analysis of customer conversations. Other Security Deck modules remain restricted.
On 11 October, Yandex Cloud reported that a drone attack had halted its Vladimir data centre and put the cloud platform into emergency operation. Its subsequent list of unavailable services included Security Deck, a tool for checking companies’ cloud-resource security.
Security Deck checks cloud infrastructure and application settings against security requirements. A separate module checks applications in Kubernetes, a system managing the containers in which software runs.
In recommendations updated on 15 October at 18:00 Moscow time, Yandex Cloud reported restoring CSPM and KSPM: cloud-configuration and Kubernetes checks. Users can connect resources for checks and handle warnings about detected problems. Other modules remain restricted.
SpeechSense analyses recorded calls and conversations between customers and support staff. It transcribes speech and identifies topics and outcomes, helping companies assess their operators’ work.
On 14 October, Cloud Alerts said SpeechSense was available but tag and assistant recalculation was disabled. Tags classify conversations, while assistants analyse their content. The operator now reports restoring Pro-tag and assistant recalculation; the backlog of unprocessed data has been cleared.
