Sber confirmed a Saratov-region data-centre attack and said services worked normally
On 14 October Sber confirmed an attack on one of its data centres. The bank said all systems and services were operating normally. Its press office reported no employee injuries.
First deputy chairman Alexander Vedyakhin confirmed the attack on a Saratov-region facility to reporters. Kommersant identified the location and timing as Balakovo, overnight on 14 October.
Sber did not announce outages of banking apps, payments or transfers. Interfax’s report contains no detailed equipment-damage inventory: the normal-service statement does not specify the facility’s physical condition.
